Classic Bass Strap | Two-Part Construction with an 8 cm Shoulder Section

What makes our Classic special is its combination of a wide, pleasantly soft shoulder section and a narrower adjustment section. Thanks to our distinctive material construction, the strap feels lightly cushioned and provides excellent comfort without added padding, even during longer rehearsals or performances.

Extra-thick, robust leather ends keep the strap reliably attached to your instrument. The narrower adjustment section also makes the Classic particularly practical if you want to use a suitable pouch for your wireless transmitter.

Classic or Deluxe Bass Strap: Which Is Right for You?

The main difference between these two models is their construction. The Classic combines an 8 cm wide shoulder section with a 5 cm adjustment section, while our Deluxe bass strap is 8 cm wide throughout.

This is especially useful if you play with a wireless system. Many transmitter pouches slide directly onto a strap and are designed for a width of around 5 cm. Such pouches can be attached to the narrower adjustment section of the Classic, provided they fit that strap width.

If you do not need a pouch like that and prefer a consistently wide design, the Deluxe is an attractive alternative. For extra softness, our Comfort bass strap offers additional padding. It can be a particularly good choice for heavy basses or whenever you want more wearing comfort.

FAQs About Our Classic Bass Straps

Can I attach a wireless transmitter pouch to the Classic bass strap?

Yes. Many common wireless transmitter pouches slide onto a strap and are designed for a strap width of around 5 cm. Our Classic model narrows to a 5 cm adjustment section at the back, where you can attach these pouches. On straps that are wide throughout, such as the Deluxe, you cannot slide on this type of pouch. However, other attachment systems are available for wide bass straps. Feel free to contact us for advice.

How wide is the Classic, and how does it differ from the Deluxe?

The Classic has an 8 cm wide shoulder section and a 5 cm wide adjustment section. The Deluxe is 8 cm wide throughout, without a narrower section. Neither model is padded. If you prefer padding, take a look at our Comfort model, available in widths of 8 or 9.5 cm.

Is the length adjustable?

Yes. Our designer bass straps feature a practical sliding buckle that lets you adjust the length continuously to suit your playing position. You can switch from a low to a higher playing position in seconds.

Which basses and guitars is the Classic compatible with?

Our wide Classic bass strap is suitable for electric basses, acoustic basses and guitars fitted with compatible strap buttons. Whether your bass is short-scale or long-scale makes no difference.
