Perhaps you played guitar years ago and want to take it up again. Or perhaps you finally have time to fulfil a long-held dream of learning to play. Whether you are just starting out, returning to music or have played for many years, Steyner Lights are made for everyone looking for a distinctive guitar strap at a more accessible price.

Our Lights straps combine our brand’s characteristic designer fabrics with solid workmanship and comfortable wear. Unlike our more elaborate premium guitar straps, they feature a deliberately simpler construction.

The result is a dedicated entry-level range focused on what matters: distinctive design, good comfort and reliable quality.

Comfortable Suede-Backed Guitar Straps for Reliable Grip

A comfortable guitar strap should spread your guitar’s weight pleasantly across your shoulder without slipping constantly as you play. That is why our Steyner Lights guitar straps are 6.5 cm wide and have a soft suede underside.

The broader contact area distributes weight better than very narrow straps. The slightly textured suede adds reliable grip on your shoulder. This is particularly helpful with neck-heavy guitars, whose neck tends to tip downwards while playing.

The upper side is made from matte-black faux leather. Together with the suede, it creates a flexible, comfortable guitar strap suitable for electric guitars, acoustic guitars and basses alike.

The length adjusts from 115 to 144 cm, allowing you to set your preferred playing position. Enjoy playing standing up, whether rehearsing, practising at home or performing on stage.

Patterned Guitar Straps to Complement Your Guitar

When choosing a guitar strap, design matters just as much as comfort. Particularly with an unusual guitar colour or beautiful wood grain, the right strap can make a noticeable difference to the instrument’s appearance.

That is why our Steyner Lights Edition is available not only in simple black but also with selected designer fabrics from our collection. Elegant ornaments, striking patterns and different colour combinations give you plenty of ways to coordinate your strap with your guitar.

For example, contrasting patterns look especially striking on a black guitar. Warm brown, red and gold tones often suit sunburst finishes. With white, blue or green guitars, harmonious colour schemes and carefully chosen contrasts can both work beautifully.

Ultimately, the best design depends on your guitar and personal taste. Our Lights Edition offers a selection of distinctive patterns that you may already know from our premium guitar straps.

Steyner Lights or Premium: What Is the Difference?

Our Steyner Lights Edition and our patterned premium guitar straps differ mainly in their construction, materials and the amount of craftsmanship involved. You will find Steyner’s distinctive designs in both ranges.

The Lights Edition has a base with a faux-leather upper side and soft suede underside. On patterned models, the chosen designer fabric is sewn on top. The result is a solid, comfortable guitar strap with a deliberately simpler finish.

By contrast, our patterned premium guitar straps are crafted from multiple carefully matched components. Premium textiles, leather ends, metal fittings and numerous finishing details make these models particularly elaborate.

Another difference is length adjustment. On Steyner Lights, the length is adjusted using the traditional slots in the leather. Our premium guitar straps instead have a sliding buckle for particularly easy, continuous adjustment.

If you want to discover our designs and are looking for a solid, comfortable guitar strap, the Lights Edition is an excellent choice. If premium materials, elaborate construction and meticulous workmanship matter most to you, we recommend our premium collection.

Frequently asked questions about our Steyner Lights guitar straps

Do Steyner Lights guitar straps fit all standard strap buttons and strap locks?

Yes. The leather ends are flexible and attach easily to standard strap buttons. Even if the holes feel a little tight at first, the leather gives slightly as you fit the strap and adapts to the button. Compatibility with strap-lock systems depends on the particular model.

Can I personalise my Steyner Lights guitar strap?

Yes, you can personalise your guitar strap with a custom engraving, such as your name, a message or a design. Other fabric patterns from our premium collection are available on request, even if they are not normally offered in the Lights Edition.

How slip-resistant are Steyner Lights guitar straps?

The soft suede underside provides particularly strong grip. It holds especially well on cotton clothing, helping the guitar strap stay securely on your shoulder with very little slipping. Ideal for anyone who prefers a guitar strap with a particularly firm grip.
